Translation Activities

 

Please, students, do the following:

A. Translate into Arabic:

1-Changing our deserts into green land will help us solve our major problems.

2-It is dangerous to drive without fastening your seatbelt.

3. Charities provide essential services that positively affect the lives of citizens, such as building hospitals, schools, orphanages and religious centers.

4. Society should look after children especially those who live in workhouses.

5. Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.

6. Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later.

7. It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver.

 8. Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see. 

9. Poetry is a very beautiful thing. I love reading it. It’s very clever. It’s like reading a painting. The poet paints beautiful scenes and images with just a few words. I think it’s amazing how the poet can change our feelings so simply, and can make us think with so few words.  

10. You can gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.

B. Translate into English:

1.  يستطيع كل شخص أن يرد الجميل لبلده بشكل ما.
2. لا تدع الفشل يؤٌثر على طموحك.
3. في المستقبل مُدننا ستكون أهدأ وأنظف لأن السيارات ستستخدم بطاريات خاصة.  
4.  لقد وهب الله مصر كثيرا من المصادر الطبيعية التي لو أ’حسن إستغلالها لأصبحنا من أغني الدول.

5. علينا جميعآ أن نتعاون سويآ وأن نكون متسامحين من أجل أن نعيش حياة أفضل.

6. لقد وجدت العديد من المميزات و العيوب للسفر بحراَ.
